Physician's Choice Hearing and Dizziness Center is a fully independent practice, and we offer hearing aids from all of the major manufacturers, including Starkey, ReSound, Widex, Oticon, EarQ, Signia, and Phonak.
We are familiar with many different hearing aid models from each manufacturer, which is why we have a great track record choosing the right hearing aid for our patients. We know how to look at a patient's ears and lifestyle and determine which hearing aids would be the best fit.
Hearing aids come in a number of different styles, depending on your hearing loss and your preferences. These styles are all approximately the same price. The difference in price comes not from size or format, but instead from the technology you choose inside the hearing aid. Even custom-fit hearing aids are the same price as standard models, and they are neither worse nor better. It's just a matter of finding the hearing aids you prefer.
We try to stock hearing aids in many different models, which enables us to fit many patients with hearing aids the same day of their appointment. When we allow people to try different models, we have found that most people prefer the receiver-in-canal (RIC) hearing aids, which are small and placed behind the ears; people love them for comfort, performance, longevity, and durability. However, different patients have different needs, and if you would rather have a different style, we will work with you to make sure you're satisfied.
The full scope of styles includes:
Only providers of EarQ hearing aids can offer the longest warranty in the industry, offering a full four years of coverage! This surpasses the standard that comes with most hearing aids through other manufacturers, which typically caps at two or three years.
